[trans] HS7 Radio Show

11th Radio Show (OA October 13th, 2008)

Okamoto: Good evening, this is Hey!Say!7’s Okamoto Keito

Morimoto: Good evening, this is Morimoto Ryutaro

Okamoto: We’d like to heat up this show with just the two of us this week.

Morimoto: You messed up from the introduction.

Okamoto: There’s a hair salon that always cuts my hair and the other day, I passed by the place so I decided to go in but they asked me “do you know Morimoto kun?” and I told them “yeah, I do. He is one of the members”. That person said “ore [I] really like Morimoto kun”

Morimoto: Thank you

Okamoto: Not “Ore” because that person was a woman. She said she watched “Juken no Kamisama” and she really enjoyed it.

[Ore means is a masculine form of “I”]

Morimoto: Did you know you actually have to study? In the back. Even the other people from class were studying like Yamaguchi san as well. There’s a guest…. When that person was presenting the show… it was a year ago though. There’s was one question where he asked us to answer idiotically on the question like “what’s 1+1”.

Okamoto: What did Ryutaro do then?

Morimoto: I said “I don’t know” but then Yamaguchi san said the same thing.

Okamoto: “I don’t know”?

Morimoto: “1+1=?” and he said “I don’t know”

Okamoto: He copied you?

Morimoto: Yeah.

Okamoto: Try to stop by there sometime or actually, I’ll take you to that hair salon. Such two of us will be hosting this week. We’ll let’s start

Okamoto: If you think about October, it’s a sporty autumn. Today is Sports Day so we’ll talk about sports today.

Morimoto: Please enjoy it until the end~

Hey!Say!JUMP Sports Day Special

Okamoto: This time it’s P.E./sports. We’d like to talk passionately about them. There are keywords that have to do with sports so we’ll pull them out and start the talk. Well, Ryutaro, go ahead and pull on out.

Morimoto: Okay, the first keyword is “athletic game/competition you’re not good at”

Okamoto: Oh~ an athletic game you’re not good at…

Morimoto: Did you have any?

Okamoto: I didn’t like rugby

Morimoto: There’s rugby?!

Okamoto: In England, all I did was rugby and it was so hard. I think Ryutaro would get frustrated with it after a week.

Morimoto: really?

Okamoto: Well, you go outside with only shorts and short sleeves during winter. You play on the grass but the grass would be frozen.

Morimoto: That’s impossible then.

Okamoto: Then, we all wear spikes and the game is contact sports so you get hit a lot.

Morimoto: Really? That’s dangerous. I also had one that I didn’t like.

Okamoto: What is it?

Morimoto: I didn’t like ballroom dancing.

Okamoto: Ballroom dancing?

Morimoto: I didn’t like the music. It’s really wired. [If I’m not mistaking, he sings the first part of “do your ear hang low”] but ours was, I had ballroom dancing at my elementary school but the song was really weird.

Okamoto: what kind of song?

Morimoto: You know “The Drifters”? The “its 8 o’clock everyone together [8時だよ!全員集合!” ’s “Mustache song [ヒゲダンス]”?  It was that. [Ryutaro hums the song] Isn’t that difficult to dance to? It’s impossible!

Okamoto: How did you dance to that?

Morimoto: I just jumped out and started rock ‘n’ roll dancing. Like this

Okamoto: That’s so cool. That’s amazing.

Morimoto: It was when I was in 5th grade.

Okamoto: That’s amazing, you danced rock ‘n’ roll during ballroom dancing in 5th grade.

Morimoto: But it was hard. They had a MVP kind of award and I got one. “5th grader Morimoto Ryutaro kun” and I was like “eh? Me?”

Okamoto: It’s like using hands in a soccer game

Morimoto: Yeah.

Okamoto: And you got MVP for that?

Morimoto: Yeah, I was so happy.

Okamoto: That’s great. I’ll pull one out next. The keyword is “memories about marathons”.

Morimoto: Oh~

Okamoto: Were you in a marathon, Ryutaro?

Morimoto: I was when I was in kindergarten. We’d run in a nearby apartment sort of place.

Okamoto: In kindergarten?

Morimoto: We’d chartered that place. Back then, we lined up according to our heights so I was at the end. I hated that because you know, you want to be number one, right?

Okamoto: Yeah I’d hate that

Morimoto: And I hate to lose

Okamoto: I can tell. I can tell very well.

Morimoto: I was going to lose so I cheated but at the end I was the last one.

Okamoto: Don’t you do that kind of stuff in elementary or middle school?

Morimoto: I was invited to a marathon but I said “no”

Okamoto: I did a marathon last year.

Morimoto: Really? How was that?

Okamoto: We did it with all students and it was around my age so it was all 15 ~ 18 year old students. We ran 10 km and I was in the 6th place.

Morimoto: That’s great

Okamoto: I was in the 6th place and I was the first in my grade.

Morimoto: Eh? That’s amazing.

Okamoto: I got a gold medal.

Morimoto: What? By being in a 6th place?

Okamoto: No, because I was the first in my grade.

Morimoto: Oh, out of your grade.

Okamoto: Yeah, and I got a gold medal.

Morimoto: Like what? Paper?

Okamoto: No it wasn’t a paper. It was like a plastic kind.  This time Ryutaro and Keito talked about sports. That was all on the Sports talk.

Morimoto: Please listen to a song it’s Hey!Say!JUMP’s

Morimoto/Okamoto: Mayonaka no Shadow Boy

Mayonaka no Shadow Boy

Okamoto: It’s already time for us to apart. We are waiting for your mails.
